Material and Heat Treatment
The cavity of UPVC Plastic Pipe Coupling Mould is made of ESR-remelted H13 with a hardness of 48-50 HRC. After secondary tempering, the residual austenite is less than 2%, ensuring dimensional stability at 185 °C over the long term. The sealing surface is fitted with a NiCr25 ring, with a corrosion rate to Cl⁻ of ≤0.018 g/(m²·h). The entire template undergoes a deep-cold + hot cycle treatment of –190 °C × 6 h + 590 °C × 2 h, with a difference in thermal expansion coefficient of less than 1×10⁻⁶ /℃, eliminating seasonal "gaping."
Temperature Control System
A "four-zone-three-level" oil circulation design is adopted, with independent temperature control for the three major functional areas of socket, spigot, and reinforcement ribs, maintaining a temperature difference of ≤±0.3 °C. Pulse cooling is added to the gate area to achieve an inner wall roughness of Ra ≤0.25 µm, reducing biofilm attachment. An infrared temperature measurement interface is reserved, which can be linked with the extruder or injection molding machine's PLC to achieve thermal inertia compensation at the 0.05 s level. The scrap rate during color change or machine restart is less than 0.2%.

For sizes below DN50, a symmetrical four-cavity layout in one mould is used, and changing the mouth and core can complete specification switching within 30 minutes. Sizes above DN65 use a split assembly structure, which does not require removing the mould from the machine for maintenance.
