To precisely meet the molding requirements of plastic interior components (for automotive, home appliances, and other scenarios), KSHOW mold is designed with efficiency and precision at its core. It features a compact structure suitable for mass production.
The mold body is made of high-quality P20/H13 mold steel. The cavity and core are treated with quenching and nitriding, achieving a hardness of HRC45-50. This combination ensures wear resistance and fatigue resistance, extending the service life. The parting surface is precision ground to a fit of ≤0.01 mm, preventing flash and ensuring neat edges on the components. The gating system uses a hot runner with pinpoint gates, ensuring even material flow and reducing weld lines. It is compatible with common interior plastics such as PP, ABS, and PC/ABS.
The cooling system employs conformal cooling channels that closely follow the contour of the cavity, with a temperature control accuracy of ±1°C. This design rapidly reduces the molding cycle (8-20 seconds per mold) while avoiding defects like sink marks and warpage. The ejection mechanism combines ejector pins and a plate, providing even ejection force to prevent deformation of thin-walled interior parts during demolding. The high-precision guidance from the guide pins and bushings ensures a repeat positioning error of ≤±0.02 mm.
Plastic Interior Parts Mould integrates an efficient venting system, with vent grooves (depth 0.01-0.02 mm) placed at the end of the cavity and in dead spots of the melt flow. This design expels gases and volatiles, ensuring a smooth surface finish on the molded parts (Ra≤0.8μm). The surface can be polished to a mirror finish or textured (grain levels SP1-SP3) as needed to match the aesthetic requirements of the interior.
Plastic Interior Parts Mould is designed in a modular fashion, allowing for quick replacement of cavities and cores. It can accommodate various interior components such as door trim panels, dashboard accessories, and storage boxes. The mold weight is controlled between 500-3000 kg based on the number of cavities, fitting injection machines ranging from 100 to 500 tons. It is easy to install, debug, and maintain, with low maintenance costs, meeting the demands of industrial mass production.
