Design Basis

This ensures that the product, after being placed under conditions of 23 ℃ and 50% RH for 48 hours, has an outer diameter rebound controlled within +0.2 mm.

In response to the characteristics of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride having high heat of fusion and a steep increase in viscosity, the runner adopts a "double helix + annular pressure reduction" composite structure, enabling the melt to transition from shearing to relaxation within 0.4 s, thus avoiding surface flow lines and internal micro-layering.

Material and Heat Treatment

CPVC Plastic Pipe Connector Mould cavity selects ESR remelted H13 with a hardness of 48-50 HRC. After secondary tempering, the residual austenite is less than 3%, ensuring dimensional stability under long-term high-temperature conditions. A NiCr20 alloy sleeve is embedded in the vulnerable mouth part, with a corrosion rate to Cl- of ≤0.025 g/(m²·h).

The entire template has undergone a deep-cold - hot cycle treatment (-180 ℃×4 h + 580 ℃×2 h), with a difference in thermal expansion coefficient of less than 1×10⁻⁶ /℃, eliminating the seasonal mould "gaping" phenomenon.


Temperature Control System

A "zoned - graded" oil circulation design is adopted, with the mould body independently temperature-controlled in three sections, with a temperature difference of ≤±0.5 ℃. Pulse cooling is added to the gate area to eliminate flow lines, resulting in an inner wall roughness of Ra≤0.4 µm, reducing the probability of biofilm attachment.

An infrared online temperature measurement interface is reserved, which can be linked with the main control PLC of the extruder to achieve thermal inertia compensation at the 0.1 s level. The scrap rate during material change or machine restart is less than 0.3%.


Specifications and Compatibility

Covers the full series from DN15 to DN160, with DN20-DN63 adopting a symmetrical double-cavity layout in one mould. Changing specifications only requires replacing the insert blocks and mouth moulds, which can be completed within 30 minutes. DN75 and above use an integrated assembly structure for easy maintenance later on.

Supports three wall thickness grades of SDR11, SDR13.5, and SDR17. The lip gap of CPVC Plastic Pipe Connector Mould is adjustable within the range of 0-1.2 mm, allowing for fine-tuning online without demoulding, meeting the needs of mixed production of multiple orders on the same machine.
